Last days were all about "Trick and Treat" , halloween costumes, haunting houses, candy, pumpkins and the other halloween stuff. I was at two different haunting houses, but both were more funny than scary :D This Monday I baked Halloween cookies in anticipation on Wednesday. They tasted like christmas cookies but had shapes of ghosts or pumpkins so who cares? On the actual Halloween day, our school made a competition between homeroom teachers. They had to dress up as... something and we (students) could vote for the best costumes afterwards. I took some pictures of it, which aren't, I'm sorry, very good but at least you have a little impression about what I'm talking about ;)
In the evening some students from our school met at a friends house to hang out on Halloween. After everybody arrived we started a competiton in trick and treat. Building groups we went in the town trying to get as lot of candy as we were able to get in the given time. The group with the most candy pieces should be the winner group. At last, every group cheated in buying candy from a grocery store. So whatever one group had more than sevenhundret candy pieces, which is probably enough for the next 2 weeks of school. :D Although I didn't decorate a pumpkin this year I had a lot of fun. I think it was even my last time of "trick and treat" ever, so I really enjoyed it.
Oh and before I forget to mention it; my hostmom made me a Halloween gift and I got a Halloween card from my host grandma. Thank you again!! :D
The cutest thing ever on Halloween were still the Kindergarten kids who came to our school for candy. It was just amazing to watch them in their costumes and how happy they were walking through the hallways :)
