This week was actually a very lazy one :) Mostly I was at home listening to music, watching TV or was doing other stuff. Well, yesterday was finally Thanksgiving and we went to the house of the stephmom of my hostmom to eat their for supper. I wanted to take a good picture for you of the turkey we ate and should have look like the turkey on the right site...but I kind of missed the moment where the turkey was still "one piece"...
So we had traditionally turkey, mash potatoes and pumpkin pies; it was just not like that everybody was sitting around a big table or something. It was more like a buffet and you could take your plate and sit down where ever you wanted to. My hostfamily has a big family, so the house was kind of full (although only a small part of the family was present). Some were watching football, the kids were playing outside basketball and the rest was just talking. It was really fun and everybody was very nice. And then, suddenly it started to snow. But not only a little amount was falling down, it became kind of a snow storm.
Next morning everything looked like a winter wonderland and it was still snowing. The only thing which really sucked with snow was that we couldn't go to black Friday shopping, where everything is on sale :( hmm... but therefore it looks beatiful outside *___*
We also have a 3 year old girl at our home for three days. She is really cute especially, when I don't understand what she is saying because she mutters sometimes a little bit (a lot ) It's also kind of funny, when she wants the dog to stay outside because she is feared of him. Carter (the dog) always wants to play with her and then she is running away , which makes it even worse. If Carter sees the girl running away he automatically thinks she wants to play with him and is jumping on her. So she is even more scared :D On the first day, she only had to see Carter and was freaking out. Now she is getting used to him and only calls him a "silly dog" but in a very cute way :)
Well this was all in all my Thanksgiving break. Very relaxed and with good food ;) I'm already looking forward to the next break :D
