After having this kind of sad article I should write something about the actual Valentines day period in AMerica. Firstly to say: It is a more important day than it is in Germany. You can notice that at least 50% of the things a grocery store sells say something about Valentines day or have at least an heart on the package and balloons in heartshape are everywhere in the stores. If you forget to bu your Valentine a gift, he or she could literally brake up with you because it means you don't love him or her anymore. I got even a Valentines card from their Grandma (Thanks again!). So you just cannot forget this day here!!
The picture you can see above, is our dance team performing our valentines dance. We had the idea making a big heart with the poms in the beginning of the dance. The whole performance was learned by us on Monday of the same week until Thursday! My ostsoster and me missed two of the practice, so tha we had to learn a couple eight counts one hour before the actual performing... I was very nervous during our performance and was honestly glad when we were done with it . My legs were kind of shaking afterwards :D Luckily we got the chance to do it better again on the next day of school in our pep rally. I almost fell once but all in all we did good I think :)
So this was also our last performance, which a little fascinating because it feels for me like we just started the winter season and now it's almost over :O
The good thing is: Spring season is track season and this is honestly more exhausting than dance, which was more stress for my nerves, than for my muscles ;)
AND.... Today is the Birthday of my friend WANDA!! I don't know if you read the message of me on Skype but here is another one and everybody can read it! ;)
